Tomasello Winery (Hammonton) FAQ

  1. What are the tasting room hours?
    • We are open 9am-6pm Monday -Thursday, 9am-7pm Friday 9am-7pm, Saturday, 10am-7pm, and Sunday 11am-6pm
  2. Where are you located?
    • We are located at 225 N. Whitehorse Pike Hammonton NJ less than a mile from Rt 54 or 206
  3. Do I need to make an appointment to do a wine tasting?
    • No. For a regular wine tasting you can stop by the winery any time we are open unless you have a large group coming. Please come before the last hour or we may not be able to do a full formal tasting.
  4. How do I book a tasting for a large group?
    • Please call 800-666-9463 and we can help you plan your group’s tasting.
  5. Do you do tours of the winery?
    • We do not currently do tours of our facilities. Guest are welcome to walk to our vineyards behind the winery. It is a great place to take a picture.
  6. Is there outdoor seating available?
    • Yes for wine tasting customers there is seating outside. There is no outdoor seated dinners.
  7. Can I bring a picnic?
    • No outside food is allowed at the winery.
  8. Can I bring wine from other wineries?
    • No outside wine or alcohol is allowed at the winery.
  9. Is there a tasting room close to me?
    • We have several tasting rooms all over the state. Go to our tasting rooms page to see which is closest to you.
  10. Do you allow pets?
    • No.
  11. Do you allow kids?
    • Yes. At certain events children are encouraged to join their parents such as our Pasta Dinners or Mother’s Day Brunch. We allow children in our tasting rooms however  in our Hammonton tasting room there aren’t activities for children in the winery and because of our decor it is dangerous to play here.
  12. How long should I allow for my tasting?
    • Please allow at least 30-45 minutes.
  13. How much does a wine tasting cost?
    • $5 plus tax and if you keep the glass and bring it back all future tastings are free.
  14. I just want to buy wine. Do I need to do a tasting?
    • No. Feel free to stop by the tasting rooms to buy wine at any time.
  15. How do I get a gold card?
    • Call us, order online or come to the tasting room.
  16. How do I renew my Gold card?
    • You can renew by calling us or coming to a tasting room.
  17. How do I use a gold card online?
    • When you are purchasing wine log in using the email you used when you signed up for your gold card and create your Tomasello Winery account.
  18. Can you deliver wine to me?
    • We are currently able to ship to the following states: New Jersey, Alaska, California, Colorado, DC, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
  19. I want to buy your wine as a gift for someone but don’t know what they drink. What should I get?
    • You can get them a Tomasello Winery gift card good online or at any of our tasting rooms.
  20. Someone bought a bottle of your wine for me and I love it. Where can I get more?
    • Either from us directly online or in our tasting rooms or you can email us and ask where a local store sells our wine.
  21. Do you sell wine barrels?
    • It depends upon availability please call to check.
  22. When wine is shipped to me do I have to sign for it?
    • Yes. It is important to verify the the person receiving the wine is of age.
  23. How do I buy tickets to an event?
  24. Who will be singing at this year’s opera galas?
    • Because our opera galas are such special and exclusive events we like to keep the singers a surprise. Guests who come get to enjoy the award-winning talent.
  25. How do I find out about events?
  26. I can’t come in on a wednesday. Why don’t you do pasta dinners on friday/saturday?
    • Very often there will be a wedding or other event we are planning for a customer.
  27. When do I pay for an event?
    • When you reserve your tickets.
  28. I’m not much of a wine drinker. Should I still go to one of your events?
    • Absolutely! Some of our events host a full bar and others will give you the opportunity to learn about wine and you never know what you may like.
  29. I paid for an event and now I can’t go. Can I get a refund?
    • We are sorry but we do not offer refunds or exchanges for our events.

  32. How much do weddings cost?
    • Because we design weddings with individual couples in mind we cannot give a set price. Please call to make an appointment to discuss your dream wedding.
  33. I want to plan a party that’s not a wedding. Can you help me?
    • Of course! We do several different events such as (but not limited to) bridal showers, birthdays, sweet sixteens, graduations parties and more! Call today and talk to us.
