Fall is the best time to hit a festival or two and try a few wines. This weekend the Garden State Wine Growers Association is presenting the Jersey Fresh wine festival in Columbus NJ. The theme of this event is a day at the farmer’s market and it is celebrating the growing and harvesting of New Jersey grapes. The Jersey Fresh wine festival celebrates what makes New Jersey the true garden state.
The event is two days Saturday and Sunday and will include 11 wineries including Tomasello Winery. We are very excited to be there and have you taste some of our wonderful wines like our season Broomstick Brew. Bands will be there playing both days. On Saturday it will be Mesquite Honey and Sunday Crabdaddy will be playing for the crowd. Many artisan crafters, farmers and other venders will be at the Jersey Fresh wine festival sharing their Jersey fresh wares with those in attendance.
Along with delicious wines you can taste and buy you can also buy food from the food vendors. The food vendors include Bonjour Creperie, Brother Bear’s BBQ & Catering, Empanada Guy, Pure & Simple Flatbreads, and So Jersey Mobile Cafe. More than enough food to fill your stomachs. According to the Weather Channel the weather in Columbus NJ will be in the mid 70s and beautiful.
The Jersey Fresh wine festival is the perfect way to kick off the Fall season and we can’t wait to see you. You can get your tickets HERE for $20 or at the gate for $25 per person.
